Anthony Merrill, DO

Anthony P. Merrill, DO is a board-certified gastroenterologist providing comprehensive, patient-centered digestive care at Arrowhead Gastroenterology Associates. A fourth-generation Arizonan, he combines deep local roots with extensive clinical experience to deliver trusted, high-quality care.

Dr. Merrill earned his medical degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship through the Banner Good Samaritan and Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center program. He has been in practice since 2012 and has proudly served patients at Arrowhead Gastroenterology Associates throughout his career.

He specializes in gastrointestinal and liver disorders, with expertise in advanced endoscopy, colon cancer screening, GERD, inflammatory bowel disease, and functional bowel disorders. Dr. Merrill is committed to early detection, effective treatment, and long-term digestive health.
